I am trying to 'recreate' my Return to Ravnica era Izzet deck that focused on casting a crapload of instants and sorceries to synergize with key cards that boost their potential. Most of the spells are counter spells, burn spells and bounce spells. The mainboard is focused on dealing with opponent's creatures while the sideboard has tools for dealing with control decks. I think this is going to far surpass my old deck!

Guttersnipe - My old buddy! In my old deck, this next to Young Pyromancer were a great duo! Adds extra damage to burn spells and adds damage to counter spells.

Ionize - I love this card!!! My deck just wants to stop you from doing what you're doing and do damage to you! This does both at once!!! I couldn't have asked for a more perfect spell!

Crackling Drake - This replaces my old friend Spellheart Chimera. I will never forget how I would eat a Traumatize from a Dimir mill deck and then swing for a devastating amount of damage with Spellheart.
