This deck is a big spells version of Jeleva that I put together for a local free-for-all tourney on Sunday.

The deck tends to have a relatively unassuming board in the early game (as such, it is often overlooked as a threat) and seeks to keep the opposing boards at bay while sifting through the deck to set up a game-winning situation. Among the more obvious win conditions are Army of the Damned and Rise from the Tides, both efficient ways of producing hordes of Zombie tokens.

Optimal plays are Obliterate or a one-sided board-wipe with either Kalitas, Traitor of Ghet or Yahenni, Undying Partisan in play to swing for the win or slowly whither away at my opponents.

Cards that take advantage of high average CMC include Baneful Omen, Heretic's Punishment, Metallurgic Summonings, Volcanic Vision, Combustible Gearhulk, and Vial Smasher the Fierce.

The deck is full of library manipulation in the form of scry effects and an ample tutor package so as to streamline the deck, to make for effective cast triggers from Jeleva, and to be able to conjure up responses to opposing threats.
