Breakdown

Note: Set the sorting to "Custom" and "Name" to follow the below card descriptions in the order they are typed. Some things are in more than one category as they do multiple things.

These are mainly things that allow you to make them bigger therefore called targets, all are artifacts. Too many of these will cause your deck to start going wide which isn't always bad. Many are 1 drops and some have haste that allow us to have the explosive Turn 2 hit. At that point it's either do or die with an enabler or chipping in damage.

These cards allow for explosiveness otherwise our creatures are just tiny. Some versatility with these but not too much, they pretty much have to go on a target to do anything worth wild.

These lands allow for 3 colors while all come in untapped for speed at the expense of life total. If we are the faster deck, life total is just an abundant resource and can be brought back with lifelink anyway. Which land to play first is a little tricky. The priority of lands are generally: Fast Land, Shock land (Depending on how many colors are in hand), Spire of Industry, Darksteel (Unless the artifact count should be taken into consideration this is higher), Pain Land, Mirrex (Unless we need the color at the time and won't need it again), then basic (Unless this is the only color we need at the time therefore this becomes higher then Shock Land). A lot of the deck needs no color to play so most of these considerations are used depending on what color spells are in hand which is why Darksteel can be played first in some cases.

A typical guide on how I sideboard using the deck: Sometimes there isn't a better card to take out and therefore I take nothing out. By sideboarding I usually raise the average CMC cost of the deck in exchange for having a great card against what I'm facing. Below is a list of cards I have taken out and the reasoning.

When to take a card out:

Bomat Courier: Show

Dusk Rose Reliquary: Show

Eater of Virtue: Show

Ornithopter: Show

Shadowspear: Show

Skrelv's Hive: Show

Springleaf Drum: Show

The Blackstaff of Waterdeep: Show

When to put a Card in:

A more specific sideboard guide depending on match up to help prep for more competitive events. This list helps decide to swap between cards in the main board and the sideboard. If a card comes in against most match ups and a card always comes out (aside from flex slots as they almost always come out) then perhaps that card should be swapped altogether. The order of cards is how much more I would want that card over other cards also being boarded. Not all cards need to be boarded in and are just the maximum suggestion. In this way those cards can be deemed worthy as an inclusion or not due to different decklists. Because decklists fall in and out of meta this list can become outdated very fast, therefore I shall include a date of last edit in the title. Over time I may add decks that may not be meta but decks I have faced and figured out a sideboard plan for. Below is a standard loadout of sideboard I would do if unsure how to proceed and is the default setting.
