Testing Jeskai towers for the new standard format. Any advice is welcomed.

With the current standard rotating into Ixalan, I figured to dabble into an old staple deck that held its own fairly well pre-rotation. And now with Opt and Unsummon coming into standard with Ixalan, Dynavolt Tower decks might have a better shot than before.

Jeskai Towers does seem like a stretch, but the current mana base of standard seems to be able to address the problem it had before. With lands like card:Glacial Foretress and Spirebluff Canal, you're pretty much set for color fixing and fast.

A breakdown of the cards in the deck. Instant and Sorcery.

• Lightning Strike: for 3 damage to wherever you want. This plus Dynavolt Tower means that you can shoot for 6 in one turn if you can rack up the energy .
• Unsummon: Aggro decks like Ramunap Red, Mono-white weenies, and maybe an aggro Merfolk deck will most probably be running around a lot the first couple of weeks. For , you keep them at a pace.
• Abrade: Deals with creatures AND artifacts. Won't have to worry about Gearhulks and God-Pharaoh's Gift decks.
• Cast Out: Is to deal with the indestructible gods like Hazoret the Fervent.
• Fumigate: Board wipe. Gain life, keeps you going for a couple more turns.
• Opt: This card is stupid good. for scry 1 and draw? Yes, please.

Creatures.

• Kefnet the Mindful: Do not. I repeat, DO NOT underestimate this card. Even as a 1 off, this card will win you games. for a 5/5 indestrucible flyer that attacks and blocks with a clause, why the hell not? The guy gives you card draw as well. More draw means more spells flying at your opponents face!.
• Torrential Gearhulk: Best blue creature card in standard. Snapcaster Mage's fat robot.
