So this is a deck I was really excited to build. The idea of it is pretty simple: Play Jon Irenicus and slam down a powerful creature with a significant downside. Then, give it to your opponents for tons of card advantage and fun! This deck aims to ramp basically as much as Dimir can, and is a cool way to make people not hate you, but definitely change the way the game goes. Once you've got your gifts going, you can generate value through Jon Irenicus's second ability to draw tons of cards. This deck runs a decent bit of removal, a lot of which is super unconventional because returning a creature to its owner's hand would hurt an opponent if one of your gifts gets out of hand and they try to hurt you. Also, you can play into the sneaky "this creature can't be sacrificed" part of Jon by playing board wipes that only let people keep the creatures you want them to have. When it comes down to a 1v1 with someone else, you can wait until they have to attack, and then play something like Aetherize to bounce all their threats back to your hand. In addition, once you have them defenseless you can just play the best gifts you've returned to yourself as well for the win. This deck is casual and probably won't consistently win, but it's very fun and unique. If you have any suggestions, PLEASE tell me because it really helps. Bear in mind that this was made on a pretty low budget and I do have upgrades for the future. That's all :)
