Hey guys, this is my first deck I've posted on here, and it is heavily inspired by MinscAndBoo's Salty Butts, but updated for post-EMN!

As soon as I saw the spoiler for Tree of Perdition, I knew I had to utilize it's potential in this deck. So, without further ado, I present to you: Jones' BIG ASS Trees and Salty Butts!

Don't forget to +1 if you like the deck!

The primary gimmick of this deck is Assault Formation's ability to turn all those little low-cost-high-toughness creatures into BIG ASS monsters (2 mana 5/5's? Value town!). It works really well vs. typical aggro, and if you happen to get Assault Formation early on, then you can start bringing the pain, or laugh as you continue to build your wall of defenses, only to suddenly turn them all into killing machines! Alternatively, utilize the awesome synergy between Triskaidekaphobia and Tree of Perdition to bring on huge amounts of pressure to your opponent or even straight up win you the game!

Creatures

Jaddi Offshoot: A solid 1 drop potential 3/3 Defender with a nice lifegain effect.

Sidisi's Faithful: Another solid 1 drop, but a potential 4/4 and can bounce a blocker if needed.

Tide Drifter: Really good potential 5/5+ for 2 that has good synergy with the other colorless creatures in the deck.

Benthic Infiltrator: An awesome potential 4/4+ unblockable with Ingest for only 3 mana.

Void Grafter: A nice versatile card due to it's Flash. It's a solid potential 4/4+, but really shines when it's used to defend your creatures from cards like the pesky Declaration in Stone, which can be deadly to this deck.

Tree of Perdition: The BIG ASS tree that can potentially win the game on its own in 2 turns with Assault Formation in play. Just tap to give them 13 life, and on the next turn, swing for 13!

Instants

Anticipate: Useful for finding Assault Formation if you happen to get unlucky and aren't drawing one.

Shape the Sands: A SUPER good buff that basically gives one of your creatues +5+5 and reach for 1 mana if Assault Formation is in play.

Enchantments

Assault Formation: The bread and butter of the deck. Without this, you're basically stuck with a bunch of defenders, but as soon as it hits the battlefield, the REAL "massaging" can begin! In addition to it's base effect, it has the ability to let a defender attack for 1 mana, or give all your creatures a nice "+1/+1" until the end of the turn for 3.

Behind the Scenes: This card is AMAZING in this deck due to almost all your creatures having only 0 or 1 power, meaning that once it hits, you're almost always going to have a lot of unblockable "love" to massage your opponent's butt with.

Triskaidekaphobia: In my opinion, if you have Tree of Perdition in your deck, you most definitely should have a couple of these as well. The combo is an incredibly cheesy win-con, and your opponent will have a tremendous amount of pressure put on them when they are both out.

Sideboard

Clip Wings: Since we don't have any fliers in this deck, this card is really good for dealing with any your opponent may have.

Display of Dominance: A good defense against decks using lots of planeswalkers or heavy control.

Glint: Not only is this a nice little buff (especially if Assault Formation is out), but also is further protection vs control/burn.

Negate: Another good general counterspell if needed.

Reclaim: A good way to get back Assault Formation or another important card if they happen to have lots of removal.

Root Out: A solid artifact/enchantment removal spell. Especially good vs. decks that may use cards like Demonic Pact or Pyromancer's Goggles, which are both really annoying to deal with.

This deck is a work in progress, and is intended for post-EMN, but I am looking to see if I can improve it and possibly use it for future FNMs. The biggest thing I need help with right now is tweaking the sideboard and adding in other potentially good cards from EMN.

All help and suggestions are greatly appreciated and I will continue to update when I can!
