This is possibly my favourite I've built so far: a Dekkon Blackblade Esper deck based upon the Shakespeare play Julius Caeser.

I've ensured that basically every card matches up with a character or theme within the play, even adding some slightly obscure themes in order to make the deck smoother. Each creature matches up with character within the play or is representative of a theme or piece of imagery (such as the Dogs of War). The themes within the play include notions of Justice, Patriotism (the love of ones country & preventing tyrants from ruling it), Honour, War & Loyalty (to an individual, a nation & an ideal).

The deck plays out like your basic mid-range controlly Esper deck until you get enough lands on field to make it worth dropping Dekkon in order to score a win. Once you do that, you need to give him a bit of haste & protection with Lightning Greaves. The main focus of the deck then becomes finding ways to drop land that you can buff Dekkon up with, which is done through various artefacts, spells & creatures. You can also use Swords to Plowshares on a huge Dekkon to get a huge amount of life back.I also added a few Monarch cards for flavour as well as card draw

The creatures are as follows:

Dakkon Blackblade: Caeser

Dovin Baan: Octavius
