Make use of your dead creatures in the grave by scavenging them for big value from Varolz!

Take advantage of high power guys like Spike jester 3/1 for 2 mana. When he dies, if you have varolz out you can scavenge him for 2 mana and get 3x +1/+1 counters on a creature. Or slumbering dragon, which you can also put counters on to get a big flying creature. Or vexing devil with 1 red mana for 4x +1/+1 counters. Hell you can even scavenge gravecrawler if you find yourself out of zombies to put into play, that way he is useful even without other zombies as a 1 mana +2/+2 counter scavenge
