In Jund we eat!

We've all had enough of the overused competive Jund. In this deck I've decide to keep alive the food chain thematic and the primal feel that Jund is all about... with a touch of class. Welcome to the Jund Gourmet Club!

Bloodthrone Vampire, Blood Bairn and Predator Dragon will satiate their appetite with many of Jund's delicacies. Dragon Fodder, not being exclusive to our Dragon, will be a very promptly served entree, available two turns into the game and being consisted of two of Junds finest 1/1 goblins. Sometimes, our garcons get too close to our costumers, Dark Confidants are best left alive, but they are still decent tasting.

The main dish is truly a Jund symbol, the Sprouting Thrinax can feed even the most power hungry of warriors, possibly satisfying the predators that may gain up to +8/+8 from such a meal.

In Jund, even gourmet restaurants are swarmed by pesky simpletons. Removal spells like Maelstrom Pulse, Terminate and Doom Blade shall keep them at bay while your delicacies are served. Lightining bolt may be used to soften your opponent or burst down Planeswalkers before they start getting too loyal to another restaurant; Bituminous Blast can remove a pesky creature or cook up a Sprouting Thrinax for devouring, whilst giving you a free 3-drop.

Ghor-Clan Rampager may be used to avoid a crowd ruining your day. Stay strong and bash through any unclassy chump blocker after a meal for good damage with your newly acquired trample. Loxodon Warhammer will also accomplish this, provide lifelink and make you look like a Sir.

Overrun shall clear the path or any weenie turtler deck, Thrun, the Last Troll's hexproof can give some trouble to control decks and Jund Charm can stop beggars from using the trash in their graveyards against you.

I hope the Jund Gourmet Club has reached your expectations. Please help us improve our service with any suggestion you find appropriate.

Keep it classy.

Updates Add

During some playtesting, our chefs quickly realized that even though the delicacies were as amazing as always when served, that they were taking way too long.

We are also considering changing some creature slots, allowing for a stronger, more solid early game. Keeping the Jund Gourmet Club sacrifice mechanics is a must, hence these creatures will need to be the security while the food is served. Removal may also need an improvement.

There were also some complaints about how effective Blood Moon, proved to be. Surprising, I know ;D

Further improvements to speed, synergy are to be expect. A land rework might be required, maybe with some ZEN lands that weren't included at first due to this deck not using Deathrite Shaman

Finally, a new costumer is to be expected. Greater Gargadon as proved to be worthy of joining the Jund Gourmet Club, even though his bad habit of ordering food to eat from the comfort of his exile is not so classy, nobody can disagree that his exquisite taste in lands shall be a great addition.

I will post more updates revolving around the analysis of the upcoming changes and future plans.

Keep it classy
