This is my creation for standard (RTR and Theros rotation). It uses a combination of value creatures (smiter, voice, advent) and removal (putrefy, thoughtseize, selesnya charm) to put out imposing creatures while still keeping the opponent's threats at bay. There is a good amount of synergy, though most of it revolves around Archangel of Thune. Her +1/+1 counter trigger is triggered by Scavenging Ooze, Courser, Trostani, and of course her own lifelink. I used to have Blood Baron in the deck to deal with mono-black, but after a decent amount of playtesting I actually found I had a fairly decent matchup against it. That being said, I feel like it could possibly help against control. This deck's main weakness is mono-blue, which is why I put the mistcutters and golgari charms in the sideboard. The charms are also very helpful against control, which is the deck's other rough matchup. It does have a very good matchup against other aggro decks and most creature-based decks.
