Creature (1)

Planeswalker (1)

My attempt at a JUNK Walker Deck. I'm trying to make it as competitive as I can for FNM.

The goal of the deck is to hit my mana ramps as soon as possible and then start laying down planeswalkers to put the hurt on the opponent. I have enough removal in the deck so it should be fairly easy to keep my walkers safe.

I will give a short rundown of why I'm using what I'm using.

Liliana Vess: perfect for tutoring for a Merciless Eviction, Garruk, Apex Predator , or Blood Baron of Vizkopa

Elspeth, Sun's Champion: perfect play after casting Merciless Eviction and getting my board state set back up whe the opponent struggles to get creatures back on the battlefield. She also combos well with Ajani Steadfast and Ajani, Mentor of Heroes

3-1 at FNM

Well I finally was able to test this deck out last night, due to some easy matches I ended up going 3-1.

The first match of the night was against a fairly new player who ran a mono green deck that was mostly made up of m15 cards. Needless to say I won 2-0 using a merciless eviction to wipe the board of creatures and just kept using Elspeth to create soldiers and beat him down.

The second match of the night was against another new player who was using a red/blue burn deck. I wasn't letting him keep any of the creatures he was playing and just kept attacking with my Reaper of the Wilds. I went 2-0

The third match was against one of the best players at my store, he was running a mono green devotion with just a splash of black and red. The first game I won by wiping out his mana dorks and screwing him over on his precious mana. The second game I took him down to 2 life and then he was able to stabilize the battlefield by playing Nissa and turning a Darksteel citadel into a 4/4 and then turn after turn he started dropping fatties that eventually took my life total from 38 down to exactly 0. The final game was rushed cause we were just about to run out of time so he played super aggressively (which is unusual for him) and I just couldn't keep up. I lost 1-2

The final match was against my friend who was playing RUG Walkers, I won the first game by having Garruk, Apex Predator out and beating him down with 3/3's. The second game I played Stain the Mind and exiled his pesky Stormbreath Dragons, which he was running 3. Once again Garruk was my key to victory. I won 2-0

So all in all, not that bad of a night :)
