Kaalia and her various men

Inspired by Girls, Girls, Girls by Beln

This deck is going for the opposite theme with the same commander. Kaalia decides she's tired of all these girls stealing all the attention. So she decides to summon an army of men of all shapes and sizes, but only three types, this is Kaalia's Vast Harem. Other than the cast being all male, except our mistress of shenanigans, this is a vanilla Kaalia deck. I a, quite open for suggestions to make this more on the fun side, or even more competitive depending on the advice I get. This is my first serious deck on the site. So any feedback would be appreciated. Without further ado, let's get right into it.

Card Advantage

Mardu is not a color known for it's card drawing potential. It is a wedge known for producing difficult to deal with boards, through either reanimation or pumping huge threats out of no where. As a Kaalia deck We need cards that can guarantee us that we will drop a threat every turn once Kaalia is out and protected. Dragon Mage and razaketh, the foulblooded make for great repeatable draw engines. Dragon mage also has the added effect of disrupting our opponent's plans, wheels are frustrating to play against, especially when it's every turn. Razaketh does have the cost of saccing a creature, but you are at least getting an ETB and most likely hitting with a creature before saccing it to daddy Raz, honestly Razaketh is on par with Griselbrand. Wouldn't be surprised if he gets the ban hammer, but until then he'll bring all the boys to the yard (field) in this deck.

Board Wipes

Any EDH deck should be ashamed if it doesn't pack at least a proper sweeper or two. These type of cards are format staples for a reason. Sometimes a card or two, shouldn't be allowed to stick around. So you pack an answer that almost always will work make the board more fair (and empty). Balefire Dragon and Steel Hellkite provide a wipe in creature form, so not only are they discounted (five fingered) through Kaalia, but they also add repeatable board wipes that only affect the opponent you hit. Where as spells such as Wrath of God and it's sinister counterpart Damnation hit everyone's board including you own. Use these in a pinch or when an opponent is threatening lethal, as with Kaalia in your command zone you are largely the first target.
