This deck focuses on the three black edict creatures currently available in standard (Fleshbag Marauder, Merciless Executioner, and Bearer of Silence) + Blighted Fen for instant speed removal. There are a few ways to get multiple uses out of each one including Liliana and Palace Seige. I make sure the symmetrical sacrifice effects are as painless for me as possible by having multiple use sac outlets like Bloodsoaked Champions, Hangerback Walkers, and Carrier Thralls. Kalitas makes this process is doubly punishing for them and has plenty of yummy food lying around from Lilianas and his own zombie tokens as well as Thralls and Fleshbags in a pinch.

This deck can start off very aggressive, hold a mid-game against most creature based decks, and close out games with a zombie hoard or even Palace Siege life drains. The edict effect works fantastic to get around hexproof, indestructible, and targeting punishers like Reality Smasher and Thunderbreak Regent. It is unfortunately weak to token heavy decks (Gideon and Nissa), instant-speed only vulnerable creatures (Kolaghan, Sarkhan), and combo if the game goes long (Rally).

I'm considering splashing blue for some countermagic like Dispel or Negate by swapping in Holdout Settlement or Unknown Shores that also double as colorless fixing for Bearer of Silence/Sea Gate Wreckage. Another route to go would be splashing red and white for Crackling Dooms + (sideboard) Hallowed Moonlight.
