Hey there! Here is my mono Stax inspired deck. It utilizes Kalitas, Traitor of Ghet to pump out 2/2 Zombies to feed oppressive affects, such as: Smokestack , Contamination , and Magus of the Abyss . I have not tuned this deck to be the most powerful I could make it, but rather to be outlandishly disruptive, and to have an authentic mono feel to it.

Discard: Necrogen Mists , Oppression , Gibbering Descent , Pox , Mindslicer , Death Cloud . Each of these discard abilities equally, or almost always has an equal affect me. To counteract that, these cards are synergistic with discarding: Phyrexian Reclamation , Bloodghast , Asylum Visitor , Leyline of the Void , Painful Quandary , and Necropotence . Paired with reanimation spells: Reanimate , Animate Dead , Necromancy , and Sheoldred, Whispering One .

Land Destruction: Death Cloud , Pox , Strip Mine , Wasteland , paired with Crucible of Worlds .

Attrition: Fleshbag Marauder , Merciless Executioner , Slum Reaper , Ravenous Chupacabra , Gatekeeper of Malakir , and Bearer of Silence .

Tax: Nether Void , Defense Grid , Mana Web , Tangle Wire , and Winter Orb .

Kill Switches: These are cards that "turn off" certain game mechanics immediately: Cursed Totem , Torpor Orb , Contamination , Leyline of the Void , and Uba Mask .
