I started playing Magic around the Kamigawa block, this was the first deck i made after i figured out what i was doing.

There is a Mana cycling mechanism with the Elder Pines and the Loam Dwellers. These cards are necessary in a good starting hand.

Since the most of the deck consists of Spirit or Arcane cards, the majority of the time you play a spell you can look at the top 3 cards of your deck, and put the Mana into your hand and one into play tapped.

When/if you are done cycling through your deck, pumping up an Elder Pine and attacking with it can be a nuisance for your opponent.

The Unchecked Growth and Kodama's Might work well with Kodama of the South Tree, playing it gives you a boosted legendary, as well as granting trample and +1/+1 to your other Spirits.

Arashi and the Traproot Kami's help you deal with flyers.
