This is a balls to the wall Aggro Combo Deck that Utilizes The combo of
Volatile Rig
and Vizkopa Guildmage.
When the Rig comes out he has no brakes he needs to attack every turn and you CAN NOT STOP HIM... so taking this in consideration how can we maximize the situation?
Well a couple ways:
First we make this MACHINE OF DOOM IMMORTAL with Gift of Immortality, if anything happens to this guy short of being exiled into oblivion, hes going to be there every turn!
Second we give that sucker some lifelink with Vizkopa Guildmage and Whip of Erebos. When the rig decides it needs to BLOW its taking them out and healing you back 4 life a target. Assuming there is nothing on the field thats hitting them and you for 8 life gained and 4 dmg dealt to them. Now insted assume your going up against some slow playing ramp guy that has Ohhh lets say 3-4 mana dorks on the field. Rig Runs into them and yells THE PARTY STARTS NOW I AM A MAN!! blows up on everyone and their brother, this will wipe the field, trample over whatever dmg is left, hit the other player for at least 4 dmg, and heal you for 20 to 24 life.
Now I know what your thinking, sure life gain is nice, but dont you need one of those fancy Sanguine Bonds, to do any serious dmg with this deck? well thats where your wrong sir, Vizkopa Guildmage has one of those fancy things built in!
So taking the scenario spelled out before, ie: Rig, mana dorks, Rig blows up, gets really messy.. the real dmg being done here is: whatever tramples over from the dorks trying to block the Rigs Awesomeness, 4 dmg flat to your opponent, Then all the life gain also done in dmg to your opponent, for a total of atleast 24 to 28 dmg done to your opponent in one turn...
and the Rig will come back from the dead with the gift you gave him to finish off whats left of your opponent.
I made this deck to be very fun to play at FNM Im using the combo i described above and also a bunch of creatures i thought would be really really annoying to come back with Gift of Immortality attached to them.
