Btw, never played commander. I want to get into it with this deck. I own maybe 2/3s of the total value of this deck at the moment, so it won't take forever to build it up. Okay so I'm gonna barf out some thoughts here.

-Philosophy-

This deck is primarily aimed at beefing creatures, keeping creatures out, bringing them back, and making sure other opponents aren't able to do any of that. Yes, it's designed to be grindy and slow, yes it will be annoying, but dammit it has staying power.

+1/+1 counters are a mainstay of this deck. So are token creatures that benefit from beefs and counters. Doubling Season is honestly the focus of this strategy to make it explode. Trying to include tutors to get it out, and others to grab it back from my graveyard.

-Planeswalkers-

Elspeth, Sun's Champion can barf out tokens and if lucky, can ultimate and beef. Garruk, Apex Predator offers removal, tokens, and beefing of creatures. Sorin, Solemn Visitor helps swing with lifelink, tokens, and the ultimate is just awesome removal if it can happen.

-Land-

Enemy fetchlands might need to wait until BFZ hits. Don't really want to lay down that cash right now. The mana base as a whole needs a little work. Also need some acceleration. Hmm.

-Further Thoughts-

I am going to need a shitload of dice.

Cards that don't fit perfectly at the moment: Dragonlord Dromoka, she really doesn't fit with the theme, but she matches color and is a pretty ridiculous bomb and offer's me protection as turns rotate. Spot removal like Ultimate Price and Doom Blade don't have much synergy, but seem important. Siege Rhino doesn't have loads of synergy, however with all the color beefs, and the ability to whip him or get him back fairly easily, seems decent.

A few creatures seem lackluster. I dunno. More tutors? More weenies? I feel black is Underrepresented for the utility it can offer.
