Karlach, Fury of Avernus and Haunted One are obviously made for each other. The Type Sharing Cards enable Haunted One. There are not enough good Tieflings, Barbarians, or Changelings out there to do a classic tribal deck with Karlach. Also, creatures with Double Strike work best with Haunted One anyway. Many of the lands, ramp cards, and Vehicles allow you to tap Karlach so that you can give him Undying even on an opponent's turn.
