The lifegain is used to pump karlov. In addition the removal from black keeps the board clean, allowing him to hit for commander damage. The obvious win cons for life gain like Felidar Soverign and Test of endurance are present for some extra help winning. I need suggestions on how to generate tokens with this deck other than Ajani! Thanks.
