Why Karn, Silver Golem? because how many times have you even heard of the guy? even until recently I didn't know he existed, just his shiny expensive future self, Karn Liberated. This commander oriented deck has a few interesting interactions, even with creating it as a sub 35 dollar edh deck.

.

Commander:Karn's main attraction will be to turn artifacts into weapons, making rather underwhelming cards like summoning station, or something like spine of ish sah, turn into monstrous 7/7 weapons for 1 mana each. pair him up with blinkmoth urn and suddenly you may make an army out of all your artifacts.

.

Landbase:forests were the cheapest TCG price.

tomb of the spirit dragon allows for mass lifegain

inventor's fair is a dollar tutor towards any artifact, from metalwork colossus to blinkmoth urn if you just cant find them.

buried ruins, in case an artifact goes in the graveyard that doesn't belong there.

.

Creatures:Metalwork Colossus, in short time, can be cast insanely fast, and even if it goes to the graveyard it doesn't take much for it to return.

Voltaic construct if karn turns basalt monolith into a creature, infinite mana!! Play every card you draw this way, and combine with sacred armory will be terrifying

.

Artifacts:blinkmoth urn, with karn out you turn your ramp into an army

clock of omens, control in case artifacts stay tapped or to reuse artifacts

cranial archive, another elixir of immortality in case you lose artifacts in your graveyard you need

darksteel ingot, indestructible 3/3

feroz's ban, may be difficult to find and probably will need to purchase online, but in a deck that only runs 7 creatures, 6 being ramp, one being able to get out faster, its a nice addition

ghirapur orrey, need draw to balance the amount of ramp here

heroes podium, of course, most legendary artifacts cost a little bit so we are kind of lacking, but heroes podium is nice when karn turns legendary artifacts into creatures.

key to the city if you want metalwork colossus to be unblockable its decent, but turning it into a creature to tap it in case you don't have cards you want to discard, or tapping by clock of omens allows to benefit from the draw

meekstone is, BEAUTIFUL, control, and you'll never need to worry about your army as they'll bypass it as not being creatures

salvaging station and summoning station combo when artifacts get removed

semblance anvil, helps with ramp enough to be added, I mean of course sol ring should be in before, but to save money

tamiyo's journal, benefit from heroes podium, a tutor or draw all in one artifact

ugin's nexus, did you ever have a 70 cent creature that your opponents would be afraid to send to the graveyard? karn turns ugin's nexus into an actually decent 5 drop

urza's blueprint, because staff of nin costs money

war horn helps the army swing for just that little bit more
