Fairly bog standard kess brew. don't really want to go control since i run a hard control/combo niv mizzet. I usually play at my local-ish uni and so the decks i'm likely to come across have a huge disparity in power level and vastly different playstyles.

Personally, I'm quite a combo player and i struggle to play decks without at least one combo. Can't help it. What i'd like from this kess is to not have any intentional combos but have enough ways to build up a storm and wheel the game away. Unless my roommate has as isochron he ain't using. might make an exception.

There are many gaps i need to fill with this deck and any help filling them would be appreciated.

Maybeboard is full of ideas i've had for the deck but not sure what exactly i want. the deck is probably lacking interaction and that poses the first hurdle for the deck.

I used to have the 0 mana package, as i like to call it. so ancestral visions, wheel of fate,tolaria west, as foretold and lotus bloom. They too often felt like dead cards as i wanted to combo them rather than just suspending them and telegraphing my plans. So i'm going down the bounce my own artifacts route now. I'll have to play it and keep testing stuff as i go.
