Wow! I had just threw all this together an hour or so before FNM and was planning on just testing it. It turns out Kolaghan did some sick-ass work. I'll go through the rounds as I remember them.
Round 1: Bye. Yaaaay.
Round 2: Mono-Black Aggro 2-1
I oddly enough got paired up with my buddy who I lent my States winning deck to. This was a fun matchup. G1 ended pretty badly for me, with my buddy getting a perfect curve into Master of the Feast into a Mogis's Marauder. I sided in my Arc Lightnings. G2 went pretty smoothly for me with an unchecked Rabblemaster into a Harsh Sustenance. G3 2 as pretty close, got me to 2 life with a Master of the Feast flying over my tokens. I drew a Raise the Alarm, played it, now having 5 tokens, and played Harsh Sustenance to kill the Master of the Feast and bring me back to 7. He then played another Master of the Feast. I then drew ANOTHER Harsh Sustenance off the Master trigger and killed it, going back up to 12. I eventually poked him off with my tokens and finished him with a lightning strike. Gg.
Round 3: R/W Aggro (Or Something)
This was the quickest Round I have played in a while. G1 he kept a hand with 2 lands and a Magma Jet and that's all I saw that entire game. He didn't draw any lands after his 2nd and I won pretty quickly. I didn't side in anything, since I had no idea what he was playing. G2 turned into a rabble race, since he was on the play. However, I had a Rabblemaster into a Sorin on t4. He then used his Goblins to convoke a Stoke on my Sorin after lighting striking it. By now he was at 14 life and I had 5 tokens. I drew Kolaghan, dashed him in, and swung for 15. GG WP.
Round 4: 4-Color Soul
We split top 2, since we were both undefeated. However, we played for fun anyway. If you haven't seen this deck, go google it. Like right now. It's amazing. It's basically Abzan Midrange with a splash for Sidisi and a big'n named Soul of Theros. This guy is a monster. If you can't take care of him after he gets played it's GG. I ended up winning 2-1, both my wins because of sick draws and him getting land flooded. But that deck is not to be messed with.
Overall, running this deck for the first time was absolutely amazing. I highly consider trying this deck out, if you plan on spending a considerable amount of money to it. I'm sure there is a budget alternative, but I'm too lazy to think of one atm. Well, I hope you enjoyed, have a fantastic day!
