This deck features Eldritch Evolution + Korvold, Fae-Cursed King as well as a few other different paths towards infinite damage. One of the key combos of the deck is to use a sacrifice outlet such as Goblin Bombardment plus Protean Hulk , which we can fetch using Eldritch Evolution on our Commander, in order to fetch an infinite combo. I've included two possible combos to fetch from this in Melira, Sylvok Outcast + Murderous Redcap or Mikaeus, the Unhallowed + Walking Ballista , either of which will pair quite nicely with a sacrifice outlet to produce infinite damage.

The main advantage this deck features over Prossh Food Chain is that this general will give you card draw and secondary benefits even while your combo is not online. I no-longer run Food Chain in the deck since, while it did sometimes allow me some big chunks of Mana, I could only use that Mana on creature spells and not some of the key combo pieces for the deck. If I had an extra copy of Dockside Extortionist , it'd pretty much be an auto-include since it's sometimes as good as Brass' Bounty, depending on your meta, but for 5 fewer Mana.

I'd consider running a Blood Pod combo in the deck, and I considered using Birthing Pod + Dross Scorpion because, paired with either Pitiless Plunderer or simply a lot of treasures from any source such as Dockside Extortionist , you might be able to work your way up the chain to Protean Hulk by untapping the pod and combo off that way. I'm not sure this last combo would be as reliable as the other ways of going infinite, although this way I wouldn't have to include a lot of the traditional Blood Pod chain cards which don't do anything worthwhile for the deck when they're not involved in the combo, and that was somewhat the ideal advantage to running this value-based strategy in the first place.

So far this deck has performed about as well as another 9/10 competitive deck, which I think is pretty nice since I only had to spend about $100 on the cards I didn't already have in my collection for it.
