Kraj is typically run in a control format, using his ability to combo with other blue creatures and using spells to draw and counter your enemy. He's a 6 drop, so he's pretty slow and people prefer not to run him as a commander.

But Kraj is actually a scary commander that hits infinite almost every game. There are some things Kraj needs that people think they can't give him, and you have to make sure you're prioritizing right.

1. Grafting. No, not just a bunch of +1/+1 counters. You only need one, so our goal is to get as little as one counter on every creature as early as possible. Graft lets us do that. There are several blue creatures with abilities that allow you to affect any creature with a +1/+1 counter, so graft to the enemies as they enter the battlefield as well.

2. Untap. It's obvious, most activated abilities tap. But we have blue, untap everything and tap it all a few more times to get ramping. As long as you have mana, there's no reason you can't just keep bulking up those creatures. The best part is that a lot of creatures have activated abilities that untap, meaning Kraj can almost always untap himself.

3. Mana. Speaking of those untap combos, Kraj and everything you do with him needs tons of mana, and it's almost always blue. We just up our islands, lower our forests, and throw in any of the several green creatures that tap for more than one mana. Tap Kraj with viridian joiner's ability, untap with pill-pala's, and have fun with your infinite mana.

4. Card advantage. But this is why we have green. Throw in half the creature tutor cards in magic(You'll understand when you Wild Pair for a Prime Speaker), sprinkle in some card draw to top it all off, and Kraj has everything he needs at his fingertips.
