Speed kills, and this deck kills the opponent VERY fast.
Kuldotha Rebirth has to be one of my favorite sorceries of all time. Nothing's better than getting three 1/1 goblins on the first turn by sacrificing a zero-cost artifact. Follow that up with a second turn kicked Goblin Bushwhacker, and the opponent has already said goodbye to 8 life if I've not played another Memnite or Ornithopter.
This deck is obviously similar to other Kuldotha Red decks, but without the funds to spend on cards like Mox Opal or Simian Spirit Guide, I wanted to attempt a budget build. Other cards that may be different are Reckless Bushwhacker and Bone Saw. Since there are 11 cards in the deck that can be played for 0 mana, the surge cost on Reckless Bushwhacker is very easy to use, and it has the exact same effect as Goblin Bushwhacker.
This deck also may have a bit more reach than other Kuldotha Red decks. There are 8 spells in the deck that deal 5 damage to the opponent's dome, and each with minimal cost. Goblin Grenade is sorcery speed, and often finishes off the opponent after we've attacked with a bunch of Goblins. Since all of the creatures in the deck are goblins, there are plenty of creatures to sac. Shrapnel Blast costs 1 more mana, but can be cast at instant speed, which has also come in handy in a lot of situations. There are plenty of artifacts that can be used with it.
Lastly, any red deck would not be complete without a playset of Lightning Bolts, so this is a no-brainer.
The sideboard offers a few things that help against various decks. Skullcrack is an all-star against any deck that may try to fog or gain life. Electrickery has proven very effective in my local meta, clearing away any x/1 blockers that may attempt to get in the way. Smash to Smithereens has helped a lot against the Nexus lands, and Tormod's Crypt is another 0 cost artifact that works wonders against reanimator/flashback strategies.
This deck is fun. Like, REALLy fun. If you want to turn some heads in your local tournament, but don't have a lot of cash, try this one out. You'll be surprised at how quickly your opponent's lose against you.
