So when I first saw Kykar previewed, I knew that I wanted to do something with him, I just didn't know what. My first thought was Spirit tribal, but I realized I didn't like the idea of running that tribe without green or black. Spellslinger was tempting, but after I re-read the card and saw it said noncreature, I ended up going the side of enchantments. I've always wanted an enchantment deck and Jeskai seems like an interesting combination to attempt.

So I know I that there are some cards that are missing or that I should be running. Opalescence and Starfield of Nyx feel like "duh" includes, but I wanted to try something a bit different. Instead of just general stall effects that enchantments feel like that they lean towards to (which there are still some in there, I'll admit) I also included anthem effects and other unique abilities to synergize with the token generation that Kykar gives us.

This variation feels like it'll be very reliant on Kykar and Monastery Mentor , so I made sure to run quite a bit of ramp to make sure that we have the mana to cast him repeatedly alongside the enchantments we want to play. Fault Line and Earthquake are your mana sinks for alternate late game win cons.

Yes, I know I should be running the tutors for enchantments. Those will at some point inevitably make their way into the deck.

I do still have to test it against my playgroup to see how it feels. In the meantime, if you have any suggestions feel free to let me know!
