This deck is the result of me wanting to see if it's possible to make a group hug deck that wasn't just some dumb Lab Maniac combo deck in disguise. I am proud to report the answer is: kinda?

We're unabashedly group hugging all over the place here. Give everyone more cards, give everyone ramp, defend yourself if you need to but otherwise stay out of the spotlight.

...Until you're ready to go for the win. There are 10 win-cons in the deck (aside from, like, attacking people I guess... but trust me, that won't be a normal thing with this deck) that just ask you to put together a little puzzle. Make a 20/20 for Mayael's Aria . Have 4 copies of Biovisionary . Control 20 artifacts for Hellkite Tyrant . Whatever. There are lots of tools at your disposal to accomplish these goals, most of them with additional functionality, so it's just a matter of staying alive and lining up your pieces and your mana.

The best part? You'll be surprised how quick opponents are to forgive you if they manage to thwart you. You haven't actually HURT them or blown up their board... and as long as the cards keep coming, they'll be back at each other's throats before your Simic Ascendancy hits the graveyard.
