Hello everyone, I've bought the group hug precon almost immediately after its release date. Since then, I've played it only a couple of times since it was my only deck together with Ezuri, Claw of Progress (which was a mediocrely upgraded precon at the time, which I later upgraded to deck:kasetos-sneaky-sneks-snake-tribal)

Anyway, since then it has been laying in my closet for quite some time and after brewing a lot of other commanders (Check my Noyan Dar, Roil Shaper list, my King Macar, the Gold-Cursed list and my Neheb, the Eternal list) I've decided to take a look at my group hug commander Kynaios and Tiro of Meletis again. I remembered the effect they had on the table, and that it was really fun to play, but it didn't quite work the way I wanted it to. There were a lot of dead cards in my hand most of the time, and the mana base wasn't very optimal.

So I've searched and searched on for cards that granted my opponents extra stuff, as well as for me. After that, I looked on and found some interesting cards I never knew they existed. After that, it was time for the mana base. I searched on youtube, and found a series of video's from The Prof that was pretty outdated, but still helped me build the .

Then it was time for cutting, which I always have the most difficulty with. I cut the cards that just didn't fit in my strategy very well (cards that were too high CMC, cards that tried to win, etc.) and when I ended with about 118 cards in the list, I the whole thing.

Then I considered, "hmm I want my opponents to have benefits, but not benefits that hurt me" so a perfect example is Tidal Barracuda it gives everyone the effect of Vedalken Orrery but my opponents can't play spells on my turn. I also added a shrine subtheme, which can be enabled with Sanctum of All, you might think, "huh? this is a five coloured card, and your commander is only four colours". That's right, that's why we play Glittering Wish to tutor it up from the sideboard (ask if your playgroup is okay with this). We can even cast Glittering Wish from our deck by casting Bring to Light. Another, maybe janky, way to tutor the shrines is Wild Research
