LAND RAMP FOR DAYS!

Basic Deck Strategy:

• Kodama's Reach and Skyshroud Claim land-ramp into Avenger of Zendikar, Wolfbriar Elemental, and Rampaging Baloths. With Avenger of Zendikar or Rampaging Baloths out by turn 4 or 5, every land drop means huge value. Tokens are created and pumped, and the game is over soon after, especially with multiples out. Wolfbriar Elemental is always on-curve, a 4/4 for 4 when you need it, but more importantly, it's an excellent mana sink for the late game.

• Courser of Kruphix helps to filter draws and hit your land drops. The lifegain mitigates our lack of early threats, and it can block along with Wall of Blossoms and Overgrown Battlement to slow down aggressive opponents.

• Scute Mob isn't much on its first turns, but it quickly becomes a big threat that wins games all on its own. It's a 1-mana removal magnet. In the mid and late game, it's like a green Delver of Secrets, gaining +4/+4 on your next upkeep.

Sideboard:

• Mistcutter Hydra, Thrun, the Last Troll, and Skylasher deal with counterspells and other control elements.

• Ambush Viper, Naturalize, and Creeping Corrosion deal with particularly pesky permanents.

• Obstinate Baloth is great against discard.

• Skylasher and Hornet Queen swat down flying creatures.
