The idea of this deck is to survive first five turns and get rid of 5-10 extra cards of the opponent's library during that time. Once there are 5 Islands on the battlefield, the Traumatize can do it's job. And getting rid of the opponent's library is basically the goal of this deck.

Archaeomancers are here to return control cards such as Negate, Essence Scatter and Disperse. In case we get a chance to get Jace's Mindseeker on the table, Clone may be used for the second usage of Jace's Mindseeker 's ability to get the opponent's library down on count. For more flexibility, on the second or third turn the Strionic Resonator may enhance the Archeomancer's or Jace's Mindseeker 's ability to double the effect. Possible combo to survive few rounds and block opponent's beefs may be blocking with Archaeomancer returning him back to hand and recasting him the next turn, while returning Disperse back from the graveyard. In case there are enough lands to play around with combo Clone, Strionic Resonator and Disperse, this may cause the opponent to loose quickly.

23 Island could make some issues early game, but once there are 6+ Island on the table, the mana shouldn't be any issue anymore. Still there are cards such as Divination or Opportunity , that can take its places, while waiting for Islands.

The aim of this deck build is to use only Magic 2014 CORE SET cards and still work even without getting cards from another editions.
