Focus is on getting out big swingers and especially on getting out the lord. If he can make it on the field I can start throwing cats and rats at my opponent and they will be out of a hand very quickly (using heartless summoning to kill them upon entry).
The chromatic lantern serves two purposes. One it allows me to lich lord any of my opponents creatures. Two, if I dont get a heartless summoning it gives me some mana accel to get out my five drops and six drops.
Green is splashed so I can use alcehmist's refuge on their turn and make them discard on the upkeep.
The sideboard currently is set up so that if someone runs graveyard hate, I can potentially swap out a couple of the lich's to negate their sideboard
If I am facing a RDW or anything else with quick temp I would switch in Duress for
Appetite for Brains
, and possibly use mutilate instead of either Murder or Victim of Night depending on the match up.
I'm very open to suggestions and please +1 the deck if you think havengul lich or this deck kicks arse.
