The purpose of this deck is to slowly drain your opponents and/or do massive burst damage to the point where they have to be careful playing spells with cards like Liesa, Shroud of Dusk in play.

For example, with Sanguine Bond and Vizkopa Guildmage in combination with high life gain such as with Revival / Revenge and Boon Reflection, you can deal massive amounts of damage. Then, all of a sudden, the small life tax cards that you have in play start to look scarier and scarier. What's even better is that your commander is one of them and you can get her out pretty easily as you pay life instead of mana to get her into play after removals.

I also have some life gain synergy cards like Archangel of Thune and Crested Sunmare in case things don't go as planned.
