I kept looking at the UW control list of yore, and wondered:

Is there no way to replicate SOMETHING similar?

Maybe, just maybe there is...

Using some Temur manpower and some Jeskai ingenuity, I may have a tiny spark toward card draw victory.

Some neat synergies:

Mnemonic Wall + Peel from Reality can lead to a constant cycle of peels. Cycle begins on second peel, but it can easily happen. Also, Elvish Mystic + Peel from Reality often has no drawback for you.

Horizon Chimera + Life's Legacy + Master the Way Its like Sphinx's Revelation and Crater's Claws had a baby. Great endgame bomb.

Hooded Hydra + Life's Legacy Sacrifice Hydra, and keep your board presence. Also, with ramp, its easy to draw large number of cards leading to a lethal Master the Way

Other cards are standard fog, draw, and counter effects.

This is the cheap version, as all my decks are built to a strict "family before cards" budget. I'm sure a non-budget version would have better cost/power ratio.
