Ilharg's effect allows us to cheat big bois with big ETBs on to the field for free, albeit only until the end of turn. But with Sundial of the Infinite , we can end our turn early, skip Ilharg's end trigger, and keep our friends at the party. We won't always want to do that, though, because every time a friend shows up, something awesome happens! So sometimes we'll swing with Ilharg and want our friend to stick around, and sometimes we'll swing with Ilharg and tell our friend to come back later with another surprise for everyone.

Win-con = smooshing faces with big creatures with cool ETBs

If you want to be extra degenerate, toss in a Helm of the Host and Godo, Bandit Warlord . Add more Eldrazi/Blightsteel if you want to smoosh even harder (they feel unnecessarily winmoar tbh)
