So basically, right now everyone is playing the BR Ragavan, Nimble Pilferer/Lurrus of the Dream-Den as the premiere midrange deck, and I'm going to be brutally honest and say that Jund is kinda outclassed in today's meta. So if you want the best midrange deck available, then go play that. That being said, if you don't care about playing a suboptimal midrange archetype, then I'd argue that Jund is more fun than it's ever been and I am thoroughly enjoying my time with it.
