A Boros Battalion deck using cards exclusively from the Return to Ravnica block. Here's the ideal play:

Turn 1: Boros Elite or Legion Loyalist.

Turn 2: Wojek Halberdiers , Firefist Striker , or Daring Skyjek .

Turn 3: Viashino Firstblade or Skyknight Legionnaire attack immediately with Haste to trigger Battalion.

Turn 4: Spark Trooper also attacks immediately with Haste and also triggers Battalion.

Turn 6+: Spark Trooper with Double Strike through Boros Charm. For six mana, this lets me swing for 12 damage augmented by Lifelink and Trample with only a single creature, which will almost certainly fold itself into a Battalion trigger.

The idea is to swing for massive damage on turns three and four, probably plateauing with respectable damage output by maintaining Battalion until a turn five or six win.

I've been running with three copies of both Skyknight Legionnaire and Viashino Firstblade, but I think that I can get more speed by adding an extra copy of each in exchange for one Foundry Street Denizen and one Righteous Charge. This leaves me with eighteen 2-drops and nine 3-drops, so I think that my mana curve will hold well.

When I acquire them, I will replace the remaining three Foundry Street Denizen with three copies of Legion Loyalist. I think I will also swap out the remaining Righteous Charge with a fourth Legion Loyalist. This future change will rid the deck of a (now) inconsistent single card while also increasing my 1-drop count to eight cards.
