Sorcery (1)

New version of Lokri Irlymi. Testing a few changes (still might make room for 1 Mirran Crusader). Tests in detail are as follows:

8/29/2012 - Fish : 2-1
Game 1 (On the draw, lost):
Really slow opening hand for me. T2 he got out a Silvergill Adept drawing into an Aether Vial. T3 He got out a Cursecatcher and the Aether Vial, I only had a Flickerwisp after my T3. T4 Standstill. Broke the Standstill for a Serra Avenger. Just went downhill from there.

Game 2 (On the play, won):
T1 Aether Vial. He countered with Force of Will, pitching a Daze. That really hurt him. He thought he would be fine because my deck is "50 times worse without Aether Vial". T2 Thalia, Guardian of Thraben sticks and just starts his downhill, forcing him to use his Island and Wasteland to play his drawn Aether Vial. T3 Flickerwisp for me and Merrow Reejerey for him. T4 Sword of Fire and Ice for me and Silvergill Adept and Standstill for him. He then Aether Vialed in a Lord of Atlantis before attacking. T5: I give Flickerwisp the Sword of Fire and Ice, swung, then gave it to Thalia, Guardian of Thraben. He then conceded.

Game 3: (on the draw, won):
T1 Cursecatcher, T1 Aether Vial to which he Dazed. T2, he replayed his Island and swung. I played Mother of Runes and he Dismembered it. T3 he played Cosi's Trickster and Wastelanded my Wasteland. I played another Wasteland then a Jotun Grunt. T4, a second Island into Master of the Pearl Trident. I put Aether Vial and Wasteland on the bottom of my library from Jotun Grunt. Played Karakas for Flickerwisp targeting Wasteland (misplay, I should have swung then flickered Jotun Grunt). Luckily he played Mutavault on his turn, allowing me to use Wasteland and give Jotun Grunt enough targets. I played another Wasteland then Sword of Fire and Ice to which he conceded.

9/10/2012 - RUG Delver of Secrets: 2-1
Game 1 (On the play, lost):
T1: He Force of Willed my Aether Vial. That really hurt because I kept 2 Thalia, Guardian of Thrabens, 2 Flickerwisps, 1 Aether Vial, 1 Wasteland, and 1 Plains. He played an Island and passed. Then proceeded to Spell Snare my T2 thalia, guardian of thrben. T2, he played a Nimble Mongoose and Delver of Secrets, which let me cast my second Thalia, Guardian of Thraben on T3 (as well has having an open Karakas. T3, he played a Volcanic Island which I Wastelanded on my turn. He then Iced (fire side) my Thalia, Guardian of Thraben and me, I responded with Karakas, then replayed Thalia, Guardian of Thraben. He got a second Nimble Mongoose and threshold and it just went downhill.

Game 2 (On the play, won):
T1, he Force of Willed my T1 Mother of Runes (figured as much). Nothing but lands and a Brainstorm T2. T3 was a resolved Flickerwisp. T2 was a Wasteland to his singular red source, Volcanic Island. He took 3, and Surgical Extraction took out my Wastelands. I followed up by a main 2 Serra Avenger. He drew another Volcanic Island and fork bolted my Flickerwisp and me, then passed. I played a Karakas, then a Mangara of Corondor (to which he pitched a Force of Will for a Force of Will, leaving him with one card in hand and I had a Serra Avenger out). Serra Avenger brought it home after that.

Game 3 (On the draw, won):
T1, Dazed my Mother of Runes, followed by a Surgical Extraction. He played a Wasteland and a Pithing Needle calling Rishadan Port (I had 2 in hand). The game didn't last long. I got out a couple of Flickerwisps, Thalia, Guardian of Thraben and Serra Avenger. He couldn't get past an Island and 2 Wastelands.

9/14/2012 - Dredge: 2-0
Game 1 (On the play, won):
T1: Karakas -> Mother of Runes (was trying to draw out a counterspell if they had any so I could play a Thalia, Guardian of Thraben or Aether Vial T2), didn't counter. T1: draw end, discarding Golgari Grave-Troll. I knew I had to just attack as fast as possible at this point.
T2: Flagstones of Trokair -> Thalia, Guardian of Thraben, swing with Mother of Runes. T2: City of Brass, end.
T3: Wasteland -> Flickerwisp, flickering Wasteland. Swing with Mother of Runes and Thalia, Guardian of Thraben. EOT, Wasteland comes back to destroy the City of Brass. T3: Golgari Grave-Troll dredges 1 Bridge from Below, plays Gemstone Mine and passes.
T4: Plains -> Mother of Runes -> Aether Vial. Swing board (dropping him to 10 at this point). T4: Dredges Golgari Thug, plays Gemstone Mine -> Faithless Looting, discarding Bridge from Below and Golgari Grave-Troll, then pass.
T5: Swing board, dropping him to 3, pass. T3: Dredge Golgari Grave-Troll -> scoops.

Game 2 (On the draw, won):
Kept a hand with 2 Plains, Karakas, Sword of Fire and Ice aannnnd 3 Enlightened Tutors... Yea...

T1: Gemstone Mine, Putrid Imp, 2 Lion's Eye Diamond, end. T1: Plains go -> Putrid Imp discards Golgari Thug.
T2: Dredges the Golgari Thug, plays Cephalid Coliseum, swings with Putrid Imp, ends. EOT -> Enlightened Tutor, grabbing Wheel of Sun and Moon. T2: Plains -> Wheel of Sun and Moon. Opponent takes a minute to read the card, then scoops.
