I created this modern to be based around getting Griselbrand on the battlefield the without having to pay his mana cost. Shadowborn Apostles are great for bring Griselbrand to the field. Dark Confidants are to help speed up the card draw.

Unfortunately if you happen to reveal Griselbrand with a Dark Confidant it will be a dead card in your hand, and it will cause you to loss 8 life. That is why I am putting Elixir of Immortality in the deck so you can just recycle Griselbrand and the Shadowborn Apostles

I welcome any feed back that will help me to improve this deck.

In the sideboard I added Thassa, God of the Sea hoping that her scry ability will help when using Dark Confidant to avoid revealing Griselbrand.

I also thought about adding Erebos, God of the Dead for more card draw.

The Vampiric Links are for when I get Griselbrand to the field, so that I can gain 14 life instead of 7 life. Then I can use his ability to draw even more cards, or just have a net gain of life.
