Merfolk Tribal deck which balances tribal themes (lords, tokens and anthems) and maximising the benefits of the new merfolk legendary commander Tuvasa the Sunlit.

Being Bant, Tuvasa is a unique merfolk and unique commander which neatly marries up the Lorwyn merfolk in blue and white, with the newly added Ixalan merfolk in simic colours. This is therefore a broadly “tropical fish” deck, that uses white, similarly to the Modern merfolk strategy of splashing White for archetype hate cards, such as Rest in Peace, Stony Silence, Aura Shards and Blind Obedience. However being white and green opens more Lord options too. The options are nearly limitless, Collective Blessing didn’t make the cut because I want a low mana curve and cards need to be more flexible than simply an anthem. Mirari's Wake however has enough crossover to justify it’s inclusion.

Given Tuvasa’s obviously Voltron profile I am expecting her to take some hate and so the deck is more of a go wide and tall deck, more typical of merfolk than as a specifically Tuvasa voltron build.
