Hello!

Here's my take on Aetherflux Reservoir win-con. Pretty self explanatory: dig and draw turn 2-3, put down Herald of Kozilek and/or Foundry Inspector, start playing free draw artifacts such as Prophetic Prism and Metalspinner's Puzzleknot. Testing the deck I can usually win by use of Aetherflux Reservoir, especially if I use Paradoxical Outcome on all my free draw artifacts (draw that many, play them again, draw for those, healing all the way to the bank).

Problem! There is no other win-con, and with all the permanent or artifact hate floating around, that means that if you get rid of my all my Aetherflux Reservoirs then.. game over.

So I'm trying to think of what I can switch to have a second win-con without hurting the consistency of this deck. Here's a few:

Artifact Burn

Reason: - PROs: Adding Reckless Fireweaver adds an additional win-con by itself. Removing black from my mana costs (excluding Metalspinner's Puzzleknot's sacrifice ability), allows me to lower the my land count since cost reduction makes most of my cards free and does not require color fixing. It removes an Aetherflux Reservoir which through testing I have found that using 3x is just as fine since I only really need one on board. Add Collective Defiance too since it can work as both removal, draw, or help with the final burn to the face after pinging for 1 the whole game with Reckless Fireweaver.- CONs: Unfortunately, Contraband Kingpin does do work, since it allows me to dig so much deeper when playing my free draw artifacts. In addition it lowers a count of Paradoxical Outcome which usually is the finisher of my life gain win-con.

Free Giants

Reason:- PROs: Currently I have Metalwork Colossus sideboard. However, I could make colossus smash my second win-con since I play so many non-creature artifacts and cost reducers. This could easily be cast turn 5 for 5 or less mana. 5 for a 10/10 sounds good to me. - CONs: As good as 5 for 10/10 is. It doesn't have any evasion. So chump blocking pretty much just negates it.

Sideboard:

Still working on it but pretty much Cathar's Shield in case they have a lot of creature removal, I can put it in for Herald of Kozilek to make my curve even smaller and have less legal targets. Radiant Flames against aggro. Can use Prophetic Prism for the third color. Finally, Ceremonious Rejection for mirror match or pesky gearhulks.

So help would be much appreciated. At the moment I'm leaning towards adding the Reckless Fireweavers.

Thanks!
