(1.) What would YOU do to fit Abbot of Keral Keep in this list?Or are you cringing at the thought of it? (2.) Would you play this deck? Why/why not? What event would you take it to? While you think about it, let me share a story: takesadeepbreath it all started as a four color monstrosity (and I've heard the assortment called Maelstrom,) based on Esper dragons, but as that deck is really U/B with a tiny bit of white, I liked to call this one Grixxis with Dragonlord Ojutai. With the release of origins, some new spells have buffered out the rough edges and elimated the need to splash white. The deck runs like a well oiled machine now, if you ask me. The strategy takes from Ojutai in that rather than stalling the game, trading one for one, until you find your win condition and can comfortably lay down the fucking law without opposition, you'll most likely find yourself dashing in Kolaghan for four consecutive hits for 5 and winning the game that way (two damage from fetches or thoughtseize, one Roar on your end, and it's just 3 dragon smacks:) ) Though, that's not to say that the long one for one is out of reach for this list - just not my personal preference. If you prefer a slower finish, replace the Storm's Fury with one Dragonlord Silumgar and 2 Drifting Deaths. Hell, at that point it wouldn't be an issue to trade out 2 Dragonlord Kolaghan for 4 Ojuati, take out the Roars, add two of your favorite white spells and call this Esper Dragons. You may want to fix the mana base, though... What I'm trying to say, I think, is that the core of the deck is stable enough for your finisher to be based on your preferred play style. I choose to avoid Ojutai and opt for aggressive dragons that survive Languish, as I believe we'll all find it to be a format-defining spell. If you have a question, PLEASE ASK. I may have left out your favorite card, and I'm not going to know what I'm missing out on unless you let me know:) I'd love some feedback; I appreciate the time you've spent giving my list a look and would very, very much appreciate a comment or +1! Much love, tappedout community!
