I've seen many re-animator decks use the Whip of Erebos and reanimate their win cons. I've decided to have a go at a re-animator deck.I decided to look around and try to stay within my comfort zone of piloting a mid-range deck and I came up with this little concoction. You have multiple ways to fetch cards from the graveyard with this deck so you are in complete control of how you want the game to go. Problem is, I feel like my instant and sorcery spell choices could be better as well as the sideboard is completely open to suggestions. As well if you like the deck how it is, please +1!

MAIN COMBO LIST:Dragonlord Atarka + Whip of Erebos

Den Protector + Nighthowler + Whip of Erebos

Alesha, Who Smiles at Death + Nighthowler

My FNM Match-ups

Game 1: Sultai Control 0-1 Took the whole 45 minutes for the round. The match went back and forth. He was able to ultimate Kiora, the Crashing Wavefoil and was able to repeatedly make Krakens but I held them all off with Hornet Queen and her tokens. Even while that was happening, he had Ashiok, Nightmare Weaver on the board and was milling me. What won him the game was him playing Dragonlord Silumgar and stealing my Dragonlord Atarka and swinging for the victory.

Game 2: Mono-White Warriors 2-0 The first match I started with a very control oriented hand and allowed me to remove all creatures he played with Ultimate Price and Magma Jet. I won the first game just by playing Dragonlord Atarka when he hit the field, he scooped. Next match I side boarded in Reclamation Sage to prevent of using his Spear of Heliod and Whipped things back for that victory.

Game 3: Jeskai Dragons 0-2

Soulfire Grand Master tore me a new one with all that life gain. Next match Thunderbreak Regent and Stormbreathe Dragon gave him the edge to seal the game.

Game 4: Green Warriors Deck: 2-0

This kid was fairly new to the game so but Den Protector just took care of both games for me.

Game 5: 5c Collected Company 2-0

Savage Knuckleblade was tough to deal with but thanks to all the life gain from Whip of Erebos It didn't matter how good of early lead he had.
