Marchesa, the Black Rose: Death & Betrayal

The Primary win condition in this deck is direct damage via sacrifice combos.

Plan:

1. sac outlet i.e. Ashnod's Altar

2. +1 counter generator i.e. Helium Squirter

3. Marchesa and start sac'n your stuff for profit during each turn.

4. add creatures with ETB for more profit i.e. damage, card draw, and mana.

Primary Mechanics - Purpose:

1. Marchesa, the Black Rose - facilitate combos and make all creatures including itself highly resistant to removal.

2. Sac Outlets - combo piece that will reactivate ETB effects, permanetly steal "threatened" creatures, and deal direct damage via Blood Artist effects.

3. ETB effects - Sac creatures with powerful ETB or Death effects Solemn Simulacrum to reuse ETB when Marchesa returns them to the battlefield i.e. Mana, Damage, and card draw.

4. +1 counter generators - Generally a graft creature, when a creature ETB you add a +1 counter so you can sack it immediately without having to activate dethrone.
