Maybeboard


My playgroup is pretty creature/combat focused, and I thought it would be fun to make a pillow forty Marchesa that really challenges that. Once the fort is established, I'd then use political kind of cards to direct combat, force combat, or influence and control their board state while assembling tokens. I'm afraid I might be trying to accomplish too much. I want to give cards I own a good home in a deck too, like all the planewalkers. I thought I would have some issues ramping, so I threw in most of the treasure cards I own and figured the combat focused treasure generators would be easier to pull off because of the fort. While play testing I noticed it is a little slow, though that could be because I haven't put a proper mana base in. The decklist is a giant mashup of cards I own and cards I don't own, and am budgeting around $5 max per card to add.
