Abstract

Mardu Aristocrats!

When the party starts, nobody expects cruel deaths are main entertainment here. Better sign a pact with devil or your corpse might be reused several times for the amusement of the masses!

Strategy

The main engine of the deck consist of Mayhem Devil , Cruel Celebrant and Corpse Knight . Casting creature spells, sacrificing them and resurrecting creates a vicious circle of damage to our opponent.

Sorin, Vengeful Bloodlord is also a star here. Not only adds he a lifelink to Mayhem Devil ability, dying Footlight Fiend and Tibalt, Rakish Instigator 's 1/1 Devil, but also reverts cheap CMC creatures from graveyard straight to the battlefield.

Combos

• Footlight Fiend + Sorin, Vengeful Bloodlord => when Footlight Fiend dies, it deals 1 damage to any target and we gain 1 life for Sorin's lifelink. Same turn, Sorin can revert Footlight Fiend from graveyard for just 1 loyality counter.

• Mayhem Devil + Priest of Forgotten Gods => Priest's ability sacrifices 3 creatures (including opponent's!), so Mayhem Devil can deal 3 damage each time it happens. The Priest's also gives us , card draw, and takes another 2 life from the opponent.

• Dreadhorde Invasion + Fireblade Artist => Each turn, we lose 1 life and create 0/0 Army creature token, which we can straight away sacrifice with Fireblade Artist dealing 2 damage to target player. If it happens that we have Corpse Knight or Mayhem Devil on the battlefied, we may deal 1 additional damage to the opponent as well :)
