mono-green Marwyn CEDH deck

low-budget version: Marwyn, the Neutralizer (low budget)

the basic game plan is to get Marwyn out early, dig through deck for combo pieces while ramping, get an infinite mana combo (or just a lot of mana), dump that mana into one of the finishers and win

Note: for most of these combos, marwyn can be replaced with:

as long as they can make as much mana as the listed requisite power of marwyn

Ashaya, Soul of the Wild lines

Umbral Mantle line

Staff of Domination line

Temur Sabertooth lines

Kogla, the Titan Ape lines

E.Wit lines (infinite recursion):

Board Wipe lines

options:

Ram Through

Requisite: opponent has a creature on the field (if they don't, use beast within to destroy something and given them one)

  • one of the infinite mana lines that results in Marwyn having infinite power + Ram Through (recur with E.Wit line if multiple opponents)

  • Infinite mana + Finale of Devastation + Ram Through (recur with E.Wit line if multiple opponents)

Combat Damage w/ Ezuri, Renegade Leader

Combat Damage w/o Ezuri

  1. get rid of blockers
  2. buff board an arbitrarily large amount

Mill line (this is from Yeva Draw-Grow) (instant speed w/ Yeva, Vivien, or emergence zone)

(only run under Allosaurus Shepherd and Veil of Summer/Autumn's Veil protection)

To execute the line you first activate the mill land, but before letting it resolve you reset it with another untap. You do this an infinite number of times, but you keep leaving your game state ready to put a whole new set of infinite draw triggers on the stack. This is done in this sequence on the off chance your opponents draw something that can hurt us, however this is extremely unlikely as counters can't hurt us. Graveyard triggers from cards like Kozilek, Butcher of Truth or Gaea's Blessing can be responded to with more draw triggers on the stack, rendering them useless.

We can loop Endurance, Noxious Revival or Green Sun's Zenith infinitely to keep us from milling ourselves out. Also, while we can protect almost every facet of our engine at instant speed, be aware that while we're milling our opponents, they might run into some interaction, so be aware of the ones that might have mana open. Very few things can stop us at this point.

infinite untap (either Destiny Spinner + creature untappers, or card:arbor elf + card:Yavimaya, Cradle of Growth) + infinite mana + Mikokoro, Center of the Sea/Geier Reach Sanitarium = Mill the table

  1. activate your land of choice for 2 mana
  2. untap it with your method of choice
  3. repeat steps 1-2 for infinite mill

  4. respond to interaction by adding additional triggers
