This deck started out as a Commander Marath, Will of the Wild out of the box deck and has evolved since. Switching commander to Mayael and adding more fatties.

I've changed a lot of things with this deck lately so it needs some playtesting to say how things really does work out. But the idea was to take some of the randomness out by adding some stuff.

Illusionist's Bracers
Scroll Rack
Rings of Brighthearth
Sylvan Library
All of these can be combo'ed nicely with effects that plays stuff from the top of my library. Like:
Lurking Predators
Mosswort Bridge
Mayael the Anima
Domri Rade This one can be used both ways, scry to see what to get or use Domri's +1 to see if there is a creature and then put it back and wait for Mayael or Lurking Predators.

This is the strong side of the deck, now lets look at the weak side, ramp.

Realms Uncharted (mana fixing) Sakura-Tribe ElderIt's not a lot. This deck will be real slow if I don't get any of these early. And if Sol Ring isn't in the early game I can forget about activating Mayael before turn 6. I need more playtesting before I know how much more ramp I need to put in.

Would love some comments on how you think this will turn out.

I have gotten a lot of inspiration from Mayael EDH Primer and Mayael the Chubby Chaser.

Updates Add

Removed Tooth and Nail, Elvish Piper, Akroma's Memorial, Worldspine Worm and Into the Wilds

And replaced them with Dragonlord Dromoka, Artisan of Kozilek, Vengeful Rebirth, Rampant Growth and Wayfarer's Bauble

Want to get better ramp and therefore added more creatures. Dragonlord and Artisan has their utility use.

Tooth and Nail was removed because I am getting bored of casting it and doing more or less the same things over and over again. Chord of Calling should be enough. And Vengeful Rebirth can now pick something up and remove some nasties.

Elvish Piper gets a cut because it either is a miss with Mayeal or gets killed before it triggers.

Akroma's Memorial is usually a game ender, but it is boring. Really boring. So I added more ramp.

Into the Wilds didn't work as well as intended. Too much mana for the small effect it gained me.
