Mazirek lends himself well to a strategy of pumping up big token swarms. Also, you could do something degenerate like combo out with any free sac outlet, a persist creature, and mazirek. Blood Artist+Zulaport Cutthroat come to mind.

Mazirek has some crazy interactions with cards like Pox, Death Cloud, and even stuff like Scapeshift.

Decided to try a more combo-y route. Wins on average by turn 7 or 8 in goldfish, which is admittedly not particularly impressive. This needs to win faster. Cards that had good interactions with big swarms but not so much with comboing out have been cut: Corpsejack Menace, Hardened Scales, Avenger of Zendikar, Disciple of Bolas, Doubling Season, Kalonian Hydra, Scapeshift.

Blighted Woodland has been removed for being too slow. Myriad Landscape is better early and easier to activate.

Aerie Ouphes has also been removed because it is too useless without the commander or melira out. At least the other persist creatures are cheaper than 5 cmc.

Speaking of which, cards that have been added are: Flesh Allergy, Melira, Sylvok Outcast, Pawn of Ulamog, Creakwood Liege, Lingering Tormentor, Wordly Tutor, Tooth and Nail, Dimir House Guard, Death Cloud, and Pox.

One forest and one swamp have been added for more consistent land draws.

The deck is now more degenerate. The reason Pox, Scapeshift and Death Cloud are removed despite being awesome is that they are too slow for my meta. Not to mention, if I am not going to be attempting to overrun my opponents with token swarms, I have less fodder and possible counters for these 'bomb' spells. Remember: we want to win FAST.
