I really really like Alesha and I wish to make a deck around her idea. Then I wondered the mardu colors and best combinations and now I figured it out; you can bring Gray Merchant of Asphodel!!

About the deck:

Main board: I want to exploit some creatures and in this case they are Gray Merchant of Asphodel and Dictate of Phenax. The 2nd card is not that popular but I've tried it few times and the pros are: toughness 3, blocks more than you can imagine, 2 devotions, discarding, can be pulled back with Alesha, Who Smiles at Death. Cons: Is quite expensive cmc after all and it might not do anything in late game.

My ideal situation would be that I bounce Gray Merchant of Asphodel on every turn back to the game with 4+ devotion. On the end of opponent's turn, I will sac the Merchant with Qarsi High Priest for Manifest and to roll it again.

Best creature with Alesha could might be Hornet Queen but I cant fit the green color with her so I hope that the comments won't focus on this. :)

If you wanted to help, you could help with black devotion suggestions. Even better suggestion if it can be brought back with Alesha, Who Smiles at Death! My sideboard is not complete at all. Im not so familiar with these colors. And I wish to make this as my competitive deck so hopefully you can keep the meta within the ideas. Thanks already!
