Hey! Do you fancy digging though graves? Reanimating corpses of random creatures? Or maybe just some ritualistic sacrifice and a warm bath in blood? Well if that sounds appealing to you then Meren of Clan Nel Toth might just be the Commander your looking for, she might have one foot in the grave but its usually not hers, with necronomicon in hand and fresh grave soil in the air Meren awaits your call, and even if she stabs you in your sleep for expirience counters, its alright, she'll resurect you in the morning.

This deck is just plain lots of fun to play, even if you dont win it is a good time watching your opponents cringe everytime you sift through your grave yard, that said its hard to loose with some of these combos, many clasic golgari wincons, and one of my favorite combos Venser's Journal+Necropotence an already broken card that breaks completly allowing you to draw 20 cards for basiclly free should you wish, and then enough card draw and tutoring to always play into either a Sheoldred, Whispering One/Grave Pact nightmere board lock for your opponent or straight into something like Necrotic Ooze for the win on t4 cause you got lucky and dreged Phyrexian Devourer+Triskelion in your grave (super unlikly example but ive done it once to great satisfaction).
